Friends, I love being able to tell our story and use our decor to do it! I guess that is why I love tiered trays so much! You can personalize them and change up the decor as often as you choose! Nothing is off limits with tiered tray decorating! The tray featured in this blog post is in our bathroom, but we have them in several other places of our home as well! We are showing you how to make your own tiered trays without breaking the bank!
Supplies Needed to Make Your Own Tiered Tray
- Two trays, pans, plates, etc.
- A candle holder
- Spray paint in color of your choice. I love the Rust-Oleum brand Chalked spray paint in Serenity Blue
- E6000 glue
- Decor of your choice

I gathered all of my pieces, gave them a good wash, and then wiped them all down with alcohol to get rid of any dirt or oil residue. This will help the paint adhere better and more evenly. Then, I used e6000 glue to attach the pieces together and let this sit overnight.

The next morning, I spray painted the whole thing with chalk spray paint. The color was serenity blue. After spraying it right side up and letting that dry for an hour, I flipped it and painted it from the bottom down. Once it was completely coated, I let it dry overnight.

Now, Let’s Decorate that Tiered Tray!

I love the addition of the pearls, the cute handmade sign, and the terra cotta pot! See a recent Facebook live >>HERE<< where we show you how you can create some of these decor elements for your trays!
