Here is a simple way to add some lemon decor to your home with very little cost. This lemon scroll costs less than $2 to make!
Supplies needed for this DIY
- Lemon garden flag from Dollar Tree
- Paint stir sticks
- Twine
- Staple gun (optional)
- Hot glue gun and glue << I’ve linked the one I use
- Silicone finger protectors (optional but recommended)
First thing to do is to fold over the long edges of your garden flag, towards the back of the flag, to decrease the width. The flag is wider than the paint sticks are long, hence this step. I just folded the long edges and used hot glue to secure. This is where your finger protectors are recommended. Since the flag is so thin, when you glue the folded edges, you could burn your fingers trying to hold it down.

Next step is to sandwich each short end with two paint stir sticks, using hot glue.

Once you’ve covered both ends with the paint stir sticks, add a twine hanger to the top using either a staple gun or hot glue.

How easy was this DIY?! Your lemon scroll is complete!
