If you ever see any boards like this with slats in it, grab them! You can make the cut image board like you see above and I’ll show you! You can get something called bead board, but the slats are usually not even like this. You can even make your own with paint sticks! Use what you’ve got! It’s one of my mottos! Keep reading to learn how to add an image on bead board!

Supplies Needed for this Project:
- Bead board, bought or hand-made
- Paint sticks if you plan to make a board yourself
- Image of your choice
- Mod Podge
- Paint Brushes
- Xacto knife or box cutter
Optional supplies :
- Chalk paint in color of your choice.
- Stain
- Twine
- Buttons
- Raffia
- Hot glue

After your board is painted and dried, add mod podge where your calendar image will be. Try not to cover the whole board just yet because your iron will cause the mod podge to stick to your parchment paper during the next step. You will mod podge the remainder of the board after you adhere your image. I’m using the iron on method.

After everything dries, add your little details!

Other cut images that I have made with this same board!

I hope you enjoyed this DIY and that it inspires you to try one of your own! Let me know what you think in the comments below! Thanks for visiting my blog! God bless!

Do you have a video of you doing this technique
Yes, I do. I made one on a live video on Facebook. I’ll have to find it.
