Each year, I do a different themed Christmas tree for our main tree. This year that theme was gingerbread. Here is the full picture of the tree and in the following photos, I am going to tell you about the different decorations that I included on our Gingerbread Christmas Tree! Make sure to check out our other Themed Christmas Trees while you’re here!

I made this first ornament, live, with my Facebook friends! It’s made with a miniature cutting board from Amanda Made, and a vinyl decal from our shop! You can see how I put it all together >>HERE<< on the live replay! If you’re into Diys, make sure to follow us there if you’re not already!

The topper of the tree was created with several things. First, I added a metal gingerbread girl yard decoration from Dollar General. Then I added in lots of peppermint lollipops and candy canes from Hobby Lobby. I finished it off by adding loads of picks, from Hobby Lobby and Walmart.

Check out this next ornament and how perfect it is for this tree! Its a jumbo sized gingerbread cookie cutter. There is a small wooden gingerbread man that hangs in the center, too! This one came from Hobby Lobby, also.

I made several ornaments for this tree, and this is one of them. It was inspired by a cookie spray that I saw from Decorator’s Warehouse. You can make one of these adorable Gingerbread Snowflake Ornaments, too!

This next idea came from my love of oversized ornaments. They are a set of nesting gingerbread gift boxes, separated and used as individual jumbo ornaments on three different parts of the tree. I think they looked great! What do you think? We’d love for you to leave your thoughts in the comments below! But don’t leave yet, we still have lots to see!

We are big fans of vintage items, so I had to add in a bit of vintage to this tree! I did so by adding these silk thread ball ornaments, at the very end. They are hung from the most outward limbs, so as not to snag the threads, that these ornaments are notorious for. I love the nostalgia that these ornaments bring to the tree!

Another jumbo ornament idea is this Gingerbread Cutting Board, that is available in our shop! You can use this on your tree, on your fireplace mantels, or on a tiered tray or a dough bowl! If you’re a DIYer like we are, you can also make it yourself with our Gingerbread Cutting Board Craft Kit! It includes the hand cut wooden cutting board, Gingerbread Bakery Co vinyl decal and some ribbon! You can watch us make it on the live replay >>HERE<<!

This sweet s’mores ornament came from Hobby Lobby.

I like to add decor around my Christmas trees as well, so this sweet stuffed gingerbread girl, from Hobby Lobby, is standing alongside the tree on top of a wooden crate that is also holding that ornament tree (from a thrift store) and some jumbo bulb lights.

My ribbon color theme for this tree was burlap and red/white gingham or buffalo plaid, so this next ornament was perfectly paired with our gingerbread tree! I made these peppermint themed ornaments last year and had them displayed on our Peppermint Christmas Tree. It’s nice to be able to reuse ornaments!

I found these knitted jumbo ball ornaments at Walmart last year on clearance. There are red and white ones on this tree. You can also spy a gingerbread ornament that came from Hobby Lobby.

This next ornament was made using a ribbon embroidery technique. Perfect colors for this tree, too! You can learn how to make these yourself with our detailed instructions >>HERE<<!

These adorable gingerbread ornaments came from Hobby Lobby, in a 4 pack. Two looked like this, and the other two had a chef’s hat. So stinking cute!

If you have any vintage cookie cutters or just any cookie cutters really, you can turn those into ornaments very simply! The photo is pretty self explanatory, but watch this >>Tutorial<< if you’d like to see how I made them! That link will take you to my TikTok channel and I’d love for you to follow me there!

Walmart had these fuzzy candy cane ornaments in a 4-pack last year. This was another ornament that I previously used on our peppermint themed Christmas tree, that also went perfectly with this one, too!

Right below it, you can see the next ornament, which is a iced gingerbread snowflake! These were made using wooden snowflake cutouts from the Dollar Tree, believe it or not! Check out the >>Tutorial<< here!

Next, these peppermint twist lollipops came from Hobby Lobby!

Last but not least, is this sweet gingerbread chef! He has the cutest dangly legs and he came from Hobby Lobby, too! Hobby Lobby has some really great gingerbread Christmas decor as you can see!
