Cheap Gallery Wall Ideas from the Dollar Tree

I’m sure you’ve seen the peel & stick wall stickers that they sell at the Dollar Tree right? Well, grab some of those and some of their canvases and let me show you some cheap gallery wall ideas for your home!

Supplies needed for these cheap gallery wall ideas

Peel & stick Dollar Tree wall decals
8×10 stretched canvases
Mod podge
Various paints and brushes
Twine
Glue gun with hot glue (The brand of gun that I use is linked)

These are the particular wall stickers that I used for this project.

I simply applied the sticker onto the canvas just like you would onto a wall. You could place them anyway that you want, although. These just happen to fit perfectly onto the 8×10 canvases. You could use a larger canvas and add embellishments, too!

This particular one below, I started and then changed it up later. You’ll see the changes further down.

Now, it’s time for mod podge and embellishments! You just paint on your mod podge and let it dry. Using a hair dryer or heat gun helps make the process quicker, but is not necessary.

After my mod podge was dry, I used twine and paint to embellish. For this one, I just outlined the canvas with the twine and added a small bow to the corner.

For this next one, I just added some black paint around the edges.

This last one, I ended up painting the canvas, so I had to remove the decal first. I used a rose gold metallic matte paint. After painting it, I applied the decal back to the canvas and then covered it with mod podge. The last step was to add twine to each long side. I love how it turned out!
