Do you struggle making bows? If so, let me show you A Simple Way to Make a Bow! It’s called the awareness ribbon bow method and it is so super easy! With a little practice, you will be making adorable bows like the one above everyday!

1. Cut a 12-15 inch Section of Ribbon
This step is the hardest of them all, deciding on a cute ribbon for your project. Haha! This pink ribbon was found on Amazon.

2. Place Your Ribbon into an Awareness Shape
Y’all know what an awareness ribbon looks like, right? That is how you start this bow.

3. Fold Your Ribbon into Position
Then you fold down the top loop of your ribbon towards the back and up against the criss-cross of the ribbon tails. See the front and back photos below.

This is what it should look like from behind.

4. Pin Your Ribbon
I like to use a sewing pin to hold the ribbon together until I can tie it.

5. Tie Your Bow
Finally, use string, jute, or ribbon to tie your center. Remove your pin after your bow is created. Tada! You just made a super simple bow! You can dovetail your ends or cut them to make them even. Make sure to seal your ends with either glue or a lighter. You’re ready to embellish with it!
